GGPoker has closed the book on the GG World Festival 2026, and the final numbers rewrite the record books. Across five weeks of play the festival paid out a combined $363,836,719 from 6,480,095 entries, making it the largest online poker tournament series ever held.
The series ran from May 3 to June 9 with $300 million guaranteed across more than 1,600 events. The community did not merely reach that mark — it blew past it, beating the combined guarantee by north of $55 million.
Records at every buy-in level
What set the festival apart was its reach. Buy-ins ran from a $3 Low tier up to a $10,000 Super tier, so micro-stakes grinders and high rollers chased trophies in the same series. Six players banked individual prizes above $1 million, and the single biggest score landed at $1,705,063. One bounty payout alone came to $420,000.
The Global series carried most of the volume: 6,246,941 entries across 1,536 tournaments built a $352,925,821 prize pool. A separate Ontario-only series for regulated Canadian players added 234,409 entries and a $10.9 million pool, clearing its $8 million guarantee by nearly $3 million.
The $101 run that stole the show
Giant guarantees make the headlines, but the story players kept passing around came from the small print. One competitor entered a string of events with a total of just $101 in buy-ins and walked away with $100,036 — close to a 990-to-1 return, and a tidy reminder of why low-stakes online series pull such enormous fields.
That accessibility carries real weight in Asia, where GGPoker and its regional skin Natural8 are the rooms most players already sit at. A $3 entry point paired with prize pools counted in the hundreds of millions is exactly the mix that keeps recreational players across the region firing into multi-flight events from their phones, often deep into local night hours.
