The Asian Poker Tour (APT) published its 2027 schedule on October 8, 2026: four stops in South Korea and Taiwan, starting with APT Jeju Classic 2027 on January 22 and finishing with the 17-day APT Championship 2027 in Taipei from November 12 to 28. The only Main Event figures released so far belong to the season opener: a KRW 2.2M (~USD 1,600) buy-in with a KRW 2.2B (~USD 1.6M) guarantee, according to the official APT announcement.

The schedule comes a day after APT Jeju 2026 ended. That 13-day series paid out KRW 19.4B (~USD 14.6M) across 10,667 entries from 43 countries and regions, according to the APT. The tour says every festival from APT Manila Classic in February 2025 through APT Incheon 2026 set a new record.

What are the APT 2027 dates?

APT 2027 has four announced stops, two in Jeju and two in Taipei:

Stop Dates City Length
APT Jeju Classic 2027 January 22–31, 2027 Jeju, South Korea 10 days
APT Taipei 2027 April 21–May 3, 2027 Taipei, Taiwan 13 days
APT Jeju 2027 October 1–10, 2027 Jeju, South Korea 10 days
APT Championship 2027 November 12–28, 2027 Taipei, Taiwan 17 days

The APT calls Taipei the “home of the largest non-Championship festival in APT history” and the autumn Jeju stop its “marquee autumn series,” held where the tour ran its largest Korean-based festival. The announcement does not name the 2027 venues. In 2026, both Jeju stops were held at Jeju Shinhwa World and both Taipei stops at Red Space in the Red Point Center.

How much does the APT Jeju Classic 2027 Main Event cost?

The APT Jeju Classic 2027 Main Event costs KRW 2.2M (about USD 1,600) and guarantees KRW 2.2B (about USD 1.6M). The guarantee is the same as in 2026. The 2026 Main Event was listed at KRW 2,300,000 in the APT’s 2026 schedule, so the 2027 buy-in comes in KRW 100,000 lower.

The season ends with the USD 10,000 APT Championship Main Event Freezeout, which Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel has called “the Asian Main Event,” as quoted in the APT announcement. Championship titles in Taipei are played as APT Lion Trophy events. For the cost of this year’s version, see our APT Championship 2026 guide.

Is there an APT Incheon or Manila stop in 2027?

No Incheon or Manila stop is on the 2027 list so far. The 2026 season had five stops, including APT Incheon at Paradise City in August. The 2027 announcement lists only four, all in South Korea and Taiwan. The APT has not said whether more stops will be added, so treat the four dates as the confirmed core of the season, not necessarily the full calendar.

When will schedules and satellites be released?

The APT says full tournament structures, event schedules and online satellite details for 2027 will come “in the coming months” on the official Asian Poker Tour website. Natural8 is the tour’s named partner. Until the 2027 satellite list is published, there are no confirmed qualifier dates or prices.

For this season’s stops and costs, see our Asian Poker Tour 2026 guide or the new APT leaderboards. We add every APT stop to the PSR poker events calendar once dates are confirmed.
