CoinPoker starts selling a paid membership on 17 August, and the headline mechanic is unusual: the more hands you play and the harder you three-bet, the more rake the site hands back. The 3-Bet Club adds a flat 10% payback on table fees across cash games and tournaments, then scales that to 12.5% or 15% for players whose weekly stats clear preset aggression thresholds.
It sits on top of CoinRewards, the room’s existing VIP system, rather than replacing it. Memberships are bought from the in-client Wallet using account balance or a fresh deposit, and access switches on immediately after purchase. CoinPoker has not published the monthly price on its own promotions page.
Rakeback that reads your HUD
The part worth reading twice is what CoinPoker calls the Action Multiplier. Payback starts at 10% and climbs on the basis of three familiar stats: 3-bet, preflop raise and VPIP. Card Player’s breakdown puts the middle tier at a 3-bet of at least 13%, a preflop raise ratio of 0.85 or better and voluntarily played hands of 35% or more, which lifts the rate to 12.5%. Push past roughly 40% of hands played, or clear the full mid-tier set, and it tops out at 15%.
Everything resets on Monday and payouts land the same day. In practice a tight, low-volume grinder who buys the membership collects the floor rate, while a loose-aggressive player gets paid the premium. Whether that reads as a rewards programme or a nudge is a matter of taste. CoinPoker is calling it “a first-of-its-kind membership experience, not yet seen in the online poker world.”
Power Ups, cheaper seats and a set of throwables
Members also receive six Power Ups a month. Each runs for 12 hours and multiplies the rewards boost by 1.5x, taking a 10% baseline to 15% for the duration, so there is an obvious edge in saving them for a long Sunday or a festival day instead of burning them on a short session.
Beyond the money there are discounted buy-ins on a rotating selection of multi-table tournaments each month, with guarantees unchanged, meaning members buy into the same prize pool for less. The cosmetic layer of member-only avatars, emojis, throwables and a distinct app icon is pure signalling, though at a crypto room where table image travels fast it will get noticed.

The date matters more than it looks
17 August falls six days before the Global Online Poker Championship, the $50 million guaranteed series CoinPoker runs from 23 August to 28 September with schedules built separately for Asian, European and Latin American time zones. A membership bought on day one stays live across the entire series, which points those tournament discounts at exactly the stretch when a player in Manila, Hanoi or Taipei will be firing the most bullets.
