What is the Gods of Poker tour?

Gods of Poker is a mythology-themed live poker tour that launched in late 2025 and stages festivals of 75–95 events at casinos across East and Southeast Asia. Every stop has its own name, such as “The Titan Assembly” (Taipei) or “The Coiled Path” (Phnom Penh). When the tour launched, PokerNews reported that GOP’s pitch is shorter tournament days, with registration closing early while stacks are still deep.

Where has GOP run, and who won the Main Events?

GOP has run six festivals so far, and its official “Pantheon” page lists the champion of each Main Event. Entry counts and prize pools come from Somuchpoker’s tour page.

Stop Dates Venue Main Event champion
Jeju 2025 – Eden Awakens 5–14 Dec 2025 LES A Casino Tian Zhi Kong
Taipei 2026 – The Titan Assembly 8–18 Jan 2026 CTP Asia Poker Arena Fan Chihwei
Phnom Penh 2026 – The Coiled Path 26 Mar – 5 Apr 2026 NagaWorld Kunal Patni
Incheon 2026 – The Prophecy Unfolds 15–24 May 2026 Paradise City Kyung Min Lee
Manila 2026 – The Arena of Champions 21–30 Aug 2026 City of Dreams Manila Dakota Anderson
Taipei II – The Trial of Wisdom 18–27 Sep 2026 Asia Poker Arena Yu Jui Chen

Somuchpoker lists festival prize pools of USD 1.3M to USD 2.5M, and the first Jeju stop was the biggest. The Taipei II Main Event had an NT$17 million guarantee and drew 520 entries. GOP’s own news pages ran headlines warning of an overlay.

Is GOP Jeju 2026 cancelled?

Yes. On 7 October 2026, Gods of Poker announced that it had cancelled the Jeju finale planned for 4–13 December 2026, so Incheon II is now the tour’s last festival of the year. GOP did not give a reason. It said it would move to a smaller 2027 calendar of “fewer, stronger events,” with dates to be announced after Incheon. If you booked travel for Jeju in December, the APT and other Jeju festivals are listed on our poker events calendar.

How much is the GOP Main Event buy-in?

The GOP Incheon II Main Event costs KRW 1,430,000, or KRW 1,300,000 for the rake-free Flight A on 3 November, and carries a KRW 600,000,000 guarantee. According to the official Incheon II schedule, there are five starting flights from 3 to 6 November, Day 2 on 7 November and the final day on 8 November. Satellites to the Main Event cost KRW 330,000 on 3, 4 and 5 November. Earlier stops used local currency (PHP 30M GTD in Manila, NT$17M in Taipei II), so check each stop’s schedule rather than assuming a fixed buy-in.

The high rollers at Incheon II range from KRW 990,000 hyper turbos to the KRW 14,700,000 Demigods Challenge. The cheapest events cost KRW 330,000, including the women’s Aphrodite’s Event. Our news story on GOP Incheon 2026 II covers the festival in more detail.

What is a GOP Gauntlet?

A Gauntlet is the trophy title Gods of Poker awards to winners of its headline events, much like a ring or bracelet on other tours. At Incheon II, five Gauntlets are on offer: one for the Main Event and four for the High Roller events (the GOP High Roller, Super High Roller, Demigods Challenge and Titan Stack High Roller are the Gauntlet events listed with early-entry rewards).

What is the Cronus Structure?

The Cronus Structure is GOP’s tournament blind structure, built so that registration closes while stacks are still deep. GOP says it refined the structure at Taipei II after player feedback by adding a transition level at about 40 big blinds, which smooths the drop from 60 BB to 30 BB as late registration closes. In practice this means you can’t enter a GOP event late with a short stack, so plan to arrive on time.

What does the GOP Rewards Program pay?

The GOP Rewards Program pays a fixed amount for entering specific events early, not a points-based rakeback. On the official rewards page (checked October 2026), the Incheon II rewards are KRW 250,000 for the Titan Stack High Roller, KRW 300,000 each for the GOP High Roller and Super High Roller, KRW 350,000 for the Demigods Challenge, and KRW 130,000 for Main Event Flight A. There is also a first-time “Player Wallet” pre-buy reward of “up to $5,000”. The page does not list full terms, so read the conditions before you pre-buy.

Can players from Malaysia, the Philippines or Vietnam play GOP events?

GOP does not publish a list of banned countries. Its festivals have been won by players from China, Taiwan, India, Korea and the US. To play, you create an account at godsofpoker.com and must be verified before you take your seat. GOP’s rules also say the host casino’s rules override tour rules, so entry depends on the venue.
