Natural8 does not allow bots. Natural8 runs on the GGPoker Network, and the network’s Security & Ecology Policy (version 20260313, checked October 2026) bans any software that plays “without human intervention”, including AI and partially automated bots. The penalty is a permanent ban and confiscation of funds, and confiscated money can go to compensate players who lost to the bot.

Does Natural8 have bots?

Natural8 bans bots, but like every large online room it cannot guarantee none ever sit down. Natural8 is a skin on the GGPoker Network: the Natural8 website links straight to the network’s Security & Ecology Policy, so the same anti-bot rules and the same Security Team cover Natural8 and GGPoker tables. Natural8’s own House Rules (operator Run Good N.V.) cover table conduct and collusion, but they have no bot section of their own. The network policy is the rule that applies.

What counts as a bot on GGNetwork?

Section 3.1 of the GGNetwork policy defines a bot as “software, programs, websites or apps that enable playing without human intervention.” Section 3.3 widens that to “artificial intelligence, fully and partially automated bot” and “any other tools that automate decisions or actions.” Section 3.2 sets the rule: every decision has to be made by the person who owns the account.

Real-time assistance (RTA), where a human clicks the buttons but software tells them what to do, is banned separately under Section 2. The policy also bans solvers, charts and HUDs during play, and it bans virtual machines or emulators that hide your device.

How does GGNetwork detect bots on Natural8?

GGNetwork’s Security Team can block any account and run a security check on it at any time (Section 1.6). Under Section 1.10 the client may scan your device for banned programs and “compile a composite mesh to be matched against profiles” of known tools. GGPoker has said in past enforcement cases that it does not publish exactly how it catches cheats, because that would help them avoid detection.

Legitimate players get security checks too, so answer one quickly. Our source of funds check guide covers what Asia players are usually asked to send.

What happens to a bot account?

For bots, Section 3.4 lists two penalties: PERMANENT BAN from the whole GGPoker Network and CONFISCATION OF FUNDS. Under Section 1.14, confiscation can take money from the poker wallet, the main wallet and any pending withdrawals. Penalties “may vary depending on the applicable regulations” in the player’s territory (Section 1.13).

Will Natural8 refund me if I lost to a bot?

A refund is possible but not guaranteed. Section 1.14 says confiscated money is used “to compensate the victims of the unfair gameplay or where no specific victim can be identified, placed into the Network Ecology Improvement Fund.” So when a bot account is caught with money in it, players who lost to it can get a share back, and if no victim can be identified the money goes to the network fund instead.

The best-known GGNetwork payout was for RTA, not bots. In October 2020, according to Pokerfuse, GGPoker banned 40 accounts and paid out $1,175,305 confiscated from 13 of them to 4,329 players. GGPoker did not say how each share was calculated. The money usually lands in your account without you asking. Nobody is refunded if the banned account had nothing left to confiscate.

How do I report a suspected bot on Natural8?

Email Natural8 support at support@natural8.com, the contact address on Natural8’s site. Neither the House Rules nor the network policy has a dedicated bot-report form. Include the opponent’s screen name, the date and time in your local zone, the table or tournament name and hand IDs from PokerCraft. Specific hands get looked at faster than general complaints.

Some patterns are worth reporting: the same timing on every decision, the same bet sizes in every spot, sessions around the clock, and no reply when a player is pinged during a tournament deal. None of these proves a bot on its own. They are reasons to report, not reasons to accuse a player in chat, which can break Natural8’s chat rules.

Can my account get flagged as a bot?

Yes. Honest players get flagged mostly by the tools they run, not by how they play. Avoid anything the policy lists: auto-clickers, table-management or seating scripts, solvers or charts open during play, HUDs, emulators and virtual machines. Importing your own hand histories to track results is allowed, but Section 7.2 bans third-party tools that pull hand histories from the tables or PokerCraft. A VPN can also trigger a review. Natural8 bot FAQ

Are there bots on Natural8?

Bots are banned on Natural8 under the GGPoker Network Security & Ecology Policy. Like any big online room, Natural8 cannot promise none ever play, but caught bot accounts are permanently banned and their funds confiscated.

Is Natural8 on the same network as GGPoker?

Yes. Natural8 is a GGPoker Network skin, and its website links to the network’s Security & Ecology Policy, so the same anti-bot rules and Security Team cover both.

Does Natural8 refund players who lost to a bot?

Sometimes. The policy says confiscated funds are used to compensate victims of unfair play, or go to the Network Ecology Improvement Fund if no specific victim can be identified. There is no guaranteed refund amount.

How do I report a bot on Natural8?

Email support@natural8.com with the player’s name, date and time, table or tournament name and hand IDs. Specific hands are easier to investigate than general complaints.

Is using a HUD on Natural8 allowed?

No. The GGPoker Network policy bans HUDs, solvers, charts and RTA during play, along with any tool that helps execute poker actions.

Can GGNetwork scan my computer?

Yes. Section 1.10 of the policy says the network may scan the user’s machine or device to monitor prohibited activities, matching files against profiles of known tools.
